Research Misconduct Policy

Journal La Lifesci is committed to preventing and handling all forms of research misconduct. These include plagiarism, citation manipulation, data falsification, data fabrication, authorship misrepresentation, and redundant publication.

  1. All submissions are screened with originality detection software; similarity must not exceed twenty percent
  2. Manuscripts exceeding this threshold will be returned for revision or may be rejected
  3. The journal, editors, and publisher do not condone or knowingly permit misconduct
  4. Allegations of misconduct are addressed promptly and objectively according to COPE guidelines or equivalent standards; the process may include investigation, author notification, consultation with institutions, expressions of concern, corrections, retractions, or editorial notes
  5. Outcomes may include rejection, retraction, notifying institutions, or banning from future submissions

All parties share a responsibility for safeguarding the scholarly record and maintaining trust in the research community.
