Withdrawal and Revision Policy

1. Withdrawal of Published Papers

Authors may request the withdrawal of their published papers under exceptional circumstances. However, it is essential to note that the withdrawal process involves significant administrative efforts. Therefore, the following policy applies:

Fee for Withdrawal Request

A fee equivalent to the publication fee will be charged for the withdrawal of a published paper.

Procedure

Authors wishing to withdraw their published paper must submit a formal request to the editorial office, detailing the reasons for the withdrawal. The request will be reviewed by the editorial board, and a decision will be communicated within 7 days.
Repercussions: Repeated withdrawals may lead to restrictions on future submissions from the authors involved.

Copyright Implications

Upon withdrawal, the copyright assigned to Journal La Sociale will revert to the author(s).

2. Revision of Published Papers

Revisions to published papers are generally discouraged unless they are crucial for correcting significant errors or updating essential information. To manage the administrative and editorial resources required for such revisions, the following policy applies:

Fee for Revision Request

Authors requesting revisions to a published paper will be charged a fee of IDR 250,000.

Scope of Revisions

Only substantial revisions, such as correcting critical errors or adding significant new data, will be considered. Minor corrections, such as typographical errors, will not be eligible for this revision process.

Procedure

Authors must submit a detailed request outlining the necessary revisions and their justifications. The request will be reviewed by the editorial board, and a decision will be communicated within 7 days.

Review Process

Accepted revision requests will undergo a peer review process similar to the initial submission to ensure the quality and integrity of the revised content.
Copyright Implications: Revisions that are accepted and published will be subject to the same copyright terms as the original publication.
